Privacy Policy

If you email me or contact me on X, I hold whatever you send: your name, email address, and the details of your project. This is used only to answer you and to scope and deliver the work you asked about.

If you subscribe to the newsletter, I hold your email address. It is stored with Formspree, the form provider that processes the submission, and used only to send the newsletter.

The site does not run advertising trackers, and does not set analytics cookies of its own. Fonts are self-hosted through Next.js rather than loaded from a third-party font service.

The site is served by a hosting provider that, like any web host, records standard server logs including IP addresses and user agents for security and operational purposes.

Newsletter and form submissions are processed by Formspree. Calendar bookings, if you use the booking link, are processed by the scheduling provider behind that link.

Client correspondence and engagement records are kept while the engagement is active and for as long as I may need them for accounting or legal reasons afterwards.

Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe. Every issue includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing removes your address from the list.

You can ask what personal data I hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Email hello@alexcipher.xyz and I will action the request.

If you are in the EU or UK, you also have the right to complain to your national data protection authority.

Source code, contract addresses, and findings shared with me during an engagement are treated as confidential. They are not published, shared, or used as reference material without your explicit written permission.

The reports published on this site were released with the client's agreement. Nothing is published by default.
